I can’t have been more than 10 years old when picked up my Grandad's ¾ size encore acoustic guitar and taught myself The Beatles’ classic “Yesterday”. I’ve barely put down a guitar since.
Lucky enough to be born into a creative family (mum sings, dad plays the guitar) I was encouraged from a young age to create, perform and inspire. The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, John Martyn, John Mayer and Coldplay have all been big influences. I play whatever I like to hear and enjoy and appreciate a range of vocal and instrumental styles, from all through the decades.
I have performed live for over 15 years at gigs, weddings, private bookings and festivals. I play an entire variety of songs to suit multiple tastes in music from pop/rock/blues/indie and folk. I write original material (see songwriting) and have recently released my debut album ‘Parallel Lives’ which you can listen to here and buy online.
